These tiles greet visitors with a twinkling display of this school's core values. They can withstand the unforgiving afternoon sun for ages, a fitting reward for the ardous processes of glazing, firing and varnishing behind the scenes. Commissioned by LABW.

The smilies make their first appearance here. Glazing pictures on ceramics is tricky - colours are never what they seemed after firing. Painted in collaboration with the talented Hsiung Lu Fang.
